Scottish Sea Reared Trout, reared in salt water and in strong currents. This much sought-after fish is wild, and often known as Ocean Trout or Salmon Trout as it has a very similar appearance to Salmon. A great source of lean protein and healthy fats.

The best

Taking the trout from the delivery box I thought to myself, these look good, I'll try them first. Even in their frozen and wrapped state they looked damned good. One might say, they demonstrated extraordinary culinary potential. I poached the supremes gently, watching as the water bubbled so I could remove them at just the right moment. I served them with a sorrel sauce (the sorrel is in a pot by the back door) french beans (a bit further up the garden) and new potatoes (from Jersey via the greengrocer). Simply the best.

Love this, on repeat order as such delicious, good quality fish. Good size portions. Used one of last delivery in a Chinese lemon stirfry - absolutely delicious!
